Introduction

Dear MTB Orienteers,

Welcome to IV COC's MBT-O!

Clube de Orientação do Centro (COC) has the pleasure to organize one more MTB Orienteering event, integrated in the World Ranking calendar of the discipline - WRE.

The 4th COC's MTB-O combines two races in one weekend: first the Long Distance race followed by the Middle Distance on the next day, offering everyone the possibility to test their limits in a fast, hilly and sinuous track network.

As this is an WRE event, it will be possible to compete against the best athletes in the sport, nevertheless there are courses adapted to every kind of speed and orienteering knowledge.

Given the proximity in the calendar with the MTB World Orienteering Championships - for seniors and juniors (MTB WOC/JWOC) 2010, organized in Portugal - Montalegre, this might also be a last opportunity to prepare yourself or convince your national coach that your deserve a place in the World Championships.

During the event it will be possible to enjoy the nature and the region combining leisure with competition.
